Visit the Skanderbeg Museum to discover the story of our national hero who defended Europe for 25 years, earning the papal title “Athleta Christi.” Explore the famous Kruja Bazaar filled with traditional handicrafts.
Afternoon: Drive to Shkoder, northern Albania’s cultural capital, beautifully positioned between the largest lake in the Balkans and the Albanian Alps. Walking tour through “Gjuhadol,” a pedestrian area showcasing Italian and Austrian architectural influences. Ascend to Rozafa Castle for breathtaking 360-degree views and ancient Illyrian history.
Evening: Check-in at hotel in Shkoder.
Morning: Cross into Kosovo and arrive in Prizren, the cradle of Kosovar cultural heritage. Walking tour of the enchanting old town featuring the iconic Ottoman stone bridge, historic water fountains, ornate mosques, and Orthodox churches.

Morning: Depart for Mavrovo National Park, stopping first at stunning Matka Canyon and Lake. Optional boat ride to Vrelo Cave, one of nature’s hidden wonders. Continue to Lake Mavrovo for a scenic lakeside walk with optional lunch.

Afternoon: Cross back into Albania, stopping at Drilon National Park near Pogradec. This stunning landscape features crystal-clear springs, lush greenery, and the exclusive “pastrimka” trout species. White swans glide gracefully across small rivers. Continue to Berat.
Evening: Check-in at hotel in Berat.
Morning: Discover Berat, the UNESCO “City of 1,001 Windows.” Walking tour through the historic Mangalemi and Gorica neighborhoods. Ascend to the 4th-century BC fortress overlooking the Osumi Valley. Berat’s unique, white-washed houses appear stacked upon each other. The castle is Albania’s only inhabited fortress, where families live exactly as their ancestors did centuries ago. Explore Byzantine churches within the fortress walls.
