*After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Kruja, center of Albanian resistance against the Ottomans under our National Hero Scanderbeg. He kept the Ottoman armies from crossing into Western Europe for 25 years, thus earning the title “Athleta Christi” awarded by the pope of the time. We will visit the Skanderbeg Museum one of the best in the country where we get to know more about the history of Albania and our hero Scanderbeg. Finally, we make our way through Kruja’s famous Bazaar full of traditional artic rafts.
*After the visit to Kruja we drive to Shkodra. Shkodra is the most important city of north Albania, set in a beautiful plateau in front of the largest lake in the Balkans named after the town itself, and with the Albanian Alps as a backdrop. We will take a walking tour in “Gjuhadol” a newly renovated pedestrian area of Italian and Austrian architectural influences, testimony to this city’s historic links with both these countries. Then we will visit Rozafa castle and we will not only experience the supremacy the Illyrians would have feel over their enemies standing in such an imposing Castle, but will also admire breathtaking views 360 degrees.

Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to Prizren (KOSOVO). Discover Prizren the cradle of cultural wealth of Kosovo people. The walking tour will explore the old town with its Ottoman bridge, water fountain, their unique mosques and orthodox churches. The city is known for its rich culinary tradition, mainly homemade products and dishes. Lunch in one of the local restaurants in Prizren. Transfer to Bernjake, Rahovec. Tour of Stone Castle Winery. Vineyards and Winery “Stone Castle” in Rahovec is the largest producer of wine in Kosovo and among the largest in the Balkans. Drive back to Prizren.

*After breakfast at the hotel we start with a panoramic tour of Pristina. Explore the main highlights of city, visiting the National Museum - a UNESCO World Heritage site, Statue of Scanderbeg, the National Theatre, Statue of Mother Teresa, the University area and colossal “NEWBORN” sign and the city promenade.
*Depart for Skopje MACEDONIA. City tour of Skopje, including time for lunch in the city. Our panoramic tour will explore the old Railway station, the monument of Mother Teresa and her memorial house, the Stone Bridge, Daut Pasha Hammam – monument of the Islamic architecture, the church St. Spas, the Fortress Kale; we suggest also a short walking tour of the old town and its bazaar. After the visit of Skopje enjoy wine testing at SKOVIN winery. Skopje vineyard is located in the central wine region of Macedonia-Vardar valley, which produces 85% of the total wine production in Macedonia. The terrain of this vineyard is wavy and hilly, with gentle slopes of 250 up to 600 meters above sea level.

After breakfast we drive from Skopje towards the mountainous region Mavrovo national park. Our firs stop is Matka canyons and lake. OPTIONAL we can take a boat ride to Vrelo Cave to explore this wonder of nature.
After our visits we will have a short walk at the shores of lake Mavrovo, where we also have the opportunity to have Optional lunch.
Afterwards we continue to Ohrid where we will visit the old town UNESCO and the old bazaar.
Overnight in Ohrid
*After breakfast in the hotel, we start our visit from the fortress of Samuel, to the Academy complex Plaoshnik, church of Saint Sofia, the church of St. John the Baptist. Then we drive in Galichica National Park to arrive in St. Naum Monastery, situated in a perfect picture spot over Lake Ohrid UNESCO. This journey will take you to a monastic complex, known for its rich history of orthodox religion, some of the painting achievements and woodcarving, displayed within the church of St. Naum, a priest and scholar with a famous legacy. Tucked away in a middle of a natural wonder of water spring, this site is a must for any traveler.
*Leave St. Naum and we cross the border to stop at Drilon National Park where we can enjoy some free park, near Pogradec. Drilon National Park is a stunningly beautiful landscape dotted with snow-capped mountains, crystal clear waters and lush greenery. It is located within Lake Ohrid – Europe’s deepest lake – and was included in UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980. This lake is home to an exclusively found species of trout known as “pastrimka” and white swans that glide on the surface of small rivers, contentedly awaiting treats from tourists. Continue the journey to Berat.

*Our visit in Berat UNESCO World Heritage town will start from the old Mangalemi and Gorica neighborhoods to continue with a visit in the IV century BC fortress located on the hill overlooking the Osumi valley. Berat is famous for its white-washed houses with their many windows which seem to have been built on top of each other, that give it the nickname the town “one thousand and one windows”. It retains a unique style of architecture, with narrow and the Castle is the only one in Albania that still has houses and inhabitants within its walls, going about their daily life in exactly the same place their predecessors did centuries ago. Explore this fortress overlooking the town of Berat and its many Byzantine churches.

*After the visit we continue to Durres, the second largest city in Albania where we will visit the Amphitheatre II century AD, the Venetian tower, the Byzantine walls of the city and the Archeological Museum rich in ancient artefacts.
Continue towards Tirana for a panoramic tour of the city, Skanderbeg square, Et’hem Bey Mosque, clock tower, the Orthodox Church, National Historic Museum. Overnight in Tirana.
